Our family has been growing and we needed some extra space to keep everyone satisfied. We were searching for a house and we found it.
First impression is the decisive. I felt in love with it. It was abandoned and I felt like I was walking through the jungle. You couldn’t see the empty swimming pool because of the trees branches and the pathways were unpassable.
It took us time to make the interior reforms: change the floor, paint the walls, buy some furniture, clean the abandoned garden, etc
The kitchen furniture was old but it was still in good condition so we decided to paint it and save some money instead of buying a new one, change the worktop and remove the old tiles. I wanted to give my new home a fresh look and harmony. Didn’t want to charge it with unnecessary stuff and leave some space so the kids could play.
We removed several walls to make it seem bigger and cosier. Day by day I’m still trying to add some missing elements. Our house changed a lot from the first time we saw it and we love it. I feel some kind of satisfaction, when I realize that we did it by our own, with a big help of our family, dedication and time. Every corner has its own story.
